Wedding turbans with suitcase
The perfect accessory for a “wedding turbans” suitcase
Finding the perfect guest look can sometimes be impossible, but when we're talking about weddings outside your city, it becomes quite tedious. That's why today's post is dedicated to the ideal accessory for that out-of-town wedding where the dress code requires a headpiece.
Honestly, it's always bothered me when they impose an accessory or a color on you. I believe each person has their own personality and shouldn't feel obligated to wear something they don't like, or simply don't feel like wearing. They might feel disguised and turn a stylish wedding or party into a costume parade. But anyway, that wasn't the point.
As I imagine many of you have found yourselves at the train station with a suitcase, a garment bag to keep your dress from wrinkling, and to top it all off, a hatbox. It's impossible to get on the train if you're alone. That's why at one of my last weddings, I decided that a turban was the perfect accessory.
Wedding turbans are the perfect accessory if you know how to choose your outfit well. Try to avoid excess; it's important to remember "less is more." Vintage, classic, minimalist, romantic, hippie, or ethnic are some of the styles that wedding turbans can offer, depending on your choice of color, print, texture, or decoration. Try to follow a very simple rule: if you're wearing a printed dress, choose a neutral-colored turban. If you decide to add a detail, make it simple, like a brooch or a little bit of veil. If, on the other hand, your dress is simple, then take more risks with the turban, from a beautiful patterned fabric to covering it with flowers. If you choose a jewel turban, also consider the earrings you'll wear; they can be the accessory that defines your look.
