Silk flowers
If floral prints have been around for two years, now 3D silk flowers are here to stay.
We know that from the time trends appear on the catwalks until they actually reach the streets, a few seasons usually pass. Already in 2009, the first brushstrokes of this trend appeared, but it wasn't until 2014 when the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show elevated floral print to the 3D category. Many have joined this fashion of silk flowers in their shows.
Now it's brides who are daring to try this beautiful trend. If for a few years wedding dresses had taken on a sober and minimalist style, 3D flowers are here to stay. Last November I got married and I was one of these brides. The entire top part and sleeves were covered with small silk flowers, organza, and cotton, a very special texture mix.
If you haven't dared to try this trend yet, I totally recommend it; you can turn a simple dress into something spectacular, leaving those present speechless. You just have to choose a good base to complement or customize your look.
Here are some ideas with our beautiful flowers.
To decorate the cuff, you can make a selection of flowers of various sizes, with the largest being the center of our cuff, trying not to exceed the width of the wrist and going up to the elbow in decreasing size. With our Isabela flower and the organza bouquet, you can make a good combination.
Decorate your dress with small flowers of various textures scattered throughout the dress. For this idea, our Hydrangea Hortensias are perfect, as the bouquet comes with three different materials: velvet, organza, and rayon.
And if you only want a detail of this trend, then complement it with a maxi flower on the shoulder or on the back. Like our water lily flower and silk Lady.
