Preserved flowers are also known as "eternal flowers". This is because, although they look natural, they last for many years in perfect condition. We already explained the advantages of using these flowers in a previous post. Now we are going to tell you, step by step, how to make a bouquet with them.

STEPS TO FOLLOW:
- The first thing you should do is choose the flowers and prepare the materials:
- Three or four types of flowers (preserved roses, carnations, rice flowers...). It's easy to choose them because there are countless types.
- Foliage (preserved eucalyptus, baby's breath, oak leaves...).
- Esparto or raffia string.
- Velvet ribbon (optional).
-
Scissors.
2. Select the main flower.
Ideally, you should use the largest ones, such as carnations or roses. Next, add three or four leaves of foliage around the main flower you have chosen. Hold the bouquet by the stems with one hand, while you arrange the flowers with the other.
3. Add a smaller flower.
Mini daisies are a favorite. Arrange them around the foliage while you turn the bouquet. Try to make them a little lower than the tips of the foliage. Add more foliage around the last flowers, and cut the stems that protrude from the rest, so that the end is straight.

4. Depending on where you place the joining point of the stems, higher up or lower down, you will get a more compact or looser bouquet, respectively. Tie the bouquet just above your hand with the esparto string.
Finally, if you want your bouquet to be even more beautiful, wrap the stem with the velvet ribbon.
As you make it, experiment with different flowers and colors until you discover the combination you like best. And now you can get married with it, put it in a vase in your living room, or give it as a gift to someone special.
