  1. First, you must measure your waist and add at least 5 or 6 cm more to each side. It's better to add more because when making the turns we'll explain below, length is lost.
  2. In this case, we're going to cut 6 equal parts, although this is up to each person, depending on the width you want for the belt. The ends fray easily, so we're going to seal them with tape or preferably with permanent glue.
  3. To make the knot or braid easier, we're going to attach one end of the belt to a piece of cardboard with a paper clip.
  4. Now it's about giving it the shape you want. We have chosen to divide it into two groups of three and make a zig-zag pattern.
  5. We will reinforce each end of the belt with a small piece of fabric that we will sew to cover all the cords, front and back.
  6. You can add felt to the back so that the cords stay fixed.
  7. Finally, add the fasteners to each end and, voila!
