MATERIALS
- Silk cord
- Piece of fabric and felt
- Hooks (for fastening)
- Measuring tape
- Paper clips
- Cardboard

STEPS TO FOLLOW
- First, you should measure your waist and add at least 5 or 6 cm more to each side. It's better to add more because when making the turns we will explain below, length is lost.
- In this case, we are going to cut 6 equal parts, although this is up to each individual, depending on the width you want for the belt. The ends fray easily, so we are going to seal them with tape or, preferably, with permanent glue.
- To make the knotting or braiding easier, we are going to attach one end of the belt to a piece of cardboard with a paper clip.
- Now it's about giving it the shape you want. We have chosen to divide it into two groups of three and make a zig-zag pattern.
- We will reinforce each end of the belt with a small piece of fabric that we will sew to cover all the cords, front and back.
- You can add felt to the back so that the cords stay fixed.
- Finally, add the fasteners to each end, and voilà!
